STEPANAKERT. – One of the two servicemen, who were injured in a landmine explosion at the protection area of a military unit of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) Defense Army, on Tuesday is being transferred from NKR capital city Stepanakert to the Ministry of Defense Central Clinical Military Hospital in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

The Stepanakert Military Hospital informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the soldier’s leg was amputated, he is in critical condition, and it was decided to transfer him to Yerevan.

A leg of the other wounded serviceman, N. Marukyan, also was amputated. He was transferred to the Central Clinical Military Hospital in Yerevan on Monday, and he is in critical but stable condition.
