YEREVAN. – The opening of transport corridors via Abkhazia and South Ossetia is quite realistic, if this has already been voiced at the Prime Minister’s level.

National Assembly of Armenia “Tsarukyan” Faction MP, economist Vardan Bostanjyan, told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his words, not solely Armenia, but also other regional countries are experiencing difficulties with transportation, in terms of trade with Russia.

“The opening of transport corridors passing through the territory of Abkhazia and South Ossetia is beneficial not only for Armenia, but also for the other countries in the region, especially for the same Georgia and Abkhazia,” noted the economist MP. “This will also benefit such a big player in the region as Iran.”
