Russia will support the Italian representation’s efforts in the processes to resolve the Transnistria and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflicts. 

Alexander Lukashevich, Russia’s permanent representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), stated about the aforesaid at the meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.

“We will support the [OSCE Italy] Chairmanship’s efforts in the processes to settle the Transnistrian and the Karabakh conflicts,” Lukashevich said, in particular. “We [also] appreciate the OSCE’s role in Transcaucasia in a dialogue between Georgia, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia, within the framework of the Geneva Security Debates.”
