The local price of Bitcoin plunged after denial of South Korean intention to ban cryptocurrencies trading in the country, Reuters reported.

According to CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin rate raised to 13.7 thousand dollars, reached 13.6 thousand dollars at the Bitfinex exchange and 13.7 thousand dollars on the GDAX. According to the portal Coindesk, the cost of Bitcoin raised to 13.7 thousand dollars.

As reported earlier, Justice Minister Park Sang-ki’s said on Thursday the government is preparing a bill to ban the trade of crypto-currencies on domestic exchanges. Chief press secretary Yoon Young-chan explained on Friday that Justice Minister’s remarks over the shutdown of cryptocurrency exchanges is not a final decision.
