YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Friday held a consultation, at the presidential residence, with members of the National Assembly (NA) Council.

NA Vice Chairperson Arpine Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that they discussed matters regarding transition to parliamentary governance in Armenia. 

In her words, the President underscored the exclusive role of the parliament in this transition phase. 

“The transition will be clear, smooth, in accordance with the law, [and] with due stipulation of all institutional foundations,” added Hovhannisyan.
