2010 in the political and economic aspects can be described as failed,  Armenian Center for Strategic and National Studies expert , Manvel Sargsyan told NEWS.am.

According to him, it is not even worth to talk about economic recession and an unprecedented increase in inflation. “This can also be seen with a naked eye,” said the expert.

There have not been any positive changes on domestic policy, in his opinion, the Karabakh process, as Sarkisian said, went into greater impasse.

“The summit in Astana, found that the OSCE is in crisis, and the Minsk Group-engaged in the Karabakh settlement-  operates precisely in the structure of the organization, the expert said, adding that too much time was spent on  the Armenian-Turkish fruitless process.

“So these conditions do not give a reason for encouraging forecasts for 2011. In Nagorno-Karabakh and the Armenian-Turkish issues specific changes should be expected, but the domestic policy will depend on the will and determination of the authorities to conduct a serious transformation,”- concluded the expert.
