Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis intends to ask legislators to lift his immunity over accusations of fraud with EU subsidies, Reuters reported.

The police are investigating whether he legally received an EU grant for 2 million euros ten years ago by hiding ownership of the farm and the conference center. Babis denies offenses.

Czech PM made a statement before the meeting of the parliamentary committee to make a recommendation on whether to lift PM’s immunity from prosecution.
