YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman, National Assembly “Tsarukyan” Faction head, and tycoon Gagik Tsarukyan has not ruled out the possibility of their supporting the presidential candidate which the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will nominate.

But Tsarukyan on Tuesday told reporters in Parliament that this will depend on who the candidate will be.

“If today our people have given the full right to the Republicans to choose without us [the ‘Tsarukyan’ Faction] and without [the opposition NA] ‘Way Out’ [Faction], what is the talk about?” he added.

He stressed, however, that the PAP has not discussed whether to form a coalition with the RPA.

And speaking about the actions of the Armenian government, Gagik Tsarukyan highlighted that they do not have individual problems with Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, and that they just draw conclusions based on the present-day situation.
