The investigation into criminal case against Azerbaijani military serviceman Elnur Huseynzade is over.

Huseynzade’s attorney, Arkadi Israyelyan, has informed about the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to a statement which the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) National Security Service had disseminated, taking advantage of the foggy weather, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched a sabotage attempt toward Talish village of Artsakh, on February 1, 2017.

But the NKR Defense Army vanguards took preventive actions and drew the adversary back, making it suffer casualties.

In addition, the Artsakh defense forces found and detained Azerbaijani army soldier Elnur Huseynzade.

Criminal charges were brought against Huseynzade, on counts of sabotage attempt and illegal crossing of the NKR state border.
