Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on Donbass reintegration, Strana.ua reported.
Overall, 280 deputies backed the bill, with 36 voting against and two abstaining. Thirty three deputies did not vote.
According to the law, Russia is proclaimed an occupying state, while Donetsk and Luhansk regions are temporarily occupied territories, the role of the army in the conflict zone is being strengthened and legalized, and a number of fundamental human rights are being abolished on the territory of military operations.
About 700 amendments were submitted to the draft law, which prolonged its review for three days.
