YEREVAN .-  Azerbaijan is not ready for negotiations, RPA spokesperson, Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov told the reporters after the Executive Body meeting of the party, commenting on shootings on the line of contact.

"Azerbaijan is not ready for negotiations. They say one thing at the negotiating table, doing something else, "he said.
Sharmazanov also spoke about the meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers in Krakow, and noted that our position was clear during the meeting.

"If we want to make progress, first of all, we have to make arrangements. It is impossible to expect serious progress in the negotiation process without their implementation," said Sharmazanov.

He noted that international human rights organizations also state that Karabakh is a democratic republic and Azerbaijan remains a non-democratic and totalitarian society.
