The US Federal Government has shut down after Senate Republicans and Democrats failed to reach agreement on a bill approving temporary funding to keep the Government running.

In this connection, US President Donald Trump has stated that the Democrats are concerned more about illegal immigrants than security of the southern borders of the country, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.  

The White House has named the Democrats’ respective policy at the Senate as a behavior of “losers.”

“Democrats are far more concerned with Illegal Immigrants than they are with our great Military or Safety at our dangerous Southern Border,” Trump wrote on his Twitter account. “They could have easily made a deal but decided to play Shutdown politics instead.”
