The train crashed into a fence at a station in Sydney resulting in 16 people being injured, RIA Novosti reports citing the newspaper Sydney Morning Herald.

As the newspaper writes, the incident happened on January 22, around 10.00 local time at the Richmond station in the north-west of Sydney. At least three were seriously injured.

Ambulance carriages, firefighters and three helicopters arrived at the scene.
