Georgian Defense Minister Levan Izoria received the Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Ruben Sadoyan on Wednesday, the Armenian Embassy in Georgia wrote on Facebook.

The sides exchanged views on Armenian-Georgian military cooperation giving special importance to cooperation on military education and military medicine.

Izoria recalled Armenian participation in Georgia-hosted Noble Partner multinational military drills last year and expressed hoped that Armenia will also participate in drills in 2018.

Isoria said he plans to pay an official visit to Armenia.

The meeting was attended by First Deputy Defense Minister of Georgia Lela Chikovani, Armenian defense attaché in Georgia, Colonel Samvel Ramazyan and Counselor of the Embassy Karen Parunakyan.
