YEREVAN. – According to Zhamanak (Time) newspaper of Armenia, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan might replace Prime Minister and Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms, Vache Gabrielyan, after April 9.

“[But] only with the difference that if Gabrielyan is Minister of International Economic Integration and Economic Reforms, Karapetyan [, on the other hand,] will deal with only the EAEU [the Eurasian Economic Union] part of that international. He will be Deputy Prime Minister for EAEU [matters]; the new makeup of the government enables such a possibility,” wrote Zhamanak.

The Eurasian Economic Union comprises Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
