Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said at least 300 participants in the operation of the Turkish army in Afrin were killed, RIA Novosti reported referring to SDF statement.

“We have 43 victims among our fighters, including eight women from the YPG (women's self-defense forces), 134 wounded civilians and 59 dead civilians,” the statement said.

According to the statement “Turkish aggression led to ... the death of 308 members of various offensive troops, among them four officers and a general.”

The Turkish Air Force has carried out 191 flights and dropped 699 shells in the territory of northern Syria from January 20. During the operation, there were 136 clashes between the SDF and the advancing forced, Syrian Democratic Forces said.

At the same time, a representative of the Ministry of Health of Turkey said on Friday that during the operation of the Turkish Armed Forces in Syria, three Turkish soldiers were killed, 16 wounded are on inpatient treatment. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that Turkey intends to expand the operation in Syria to Manbij and further to the border with Iraq.
