ARF Dashnaktsutyun party is ready to support Armen Sarkissian's candidacy for the post of the country's president, the correspondent of Armenian News - NEWS.am reported.
The meeting of Presidential candidate from the Republican Party of Armenia, Armenian Ambassador to UK, Armen Sarkissian with the representatives of ARF Dashnaktsutyun party ended.
After the meeting, Parliament's ARF faction leader Armen Rustamyan told reporters that Armen Sarkissian, along with the members of the fraction discussed the issues of internal and foreign policy of Armenia, the issue of his nomination for the presidency.
According to Rustamyan, ARF Dashnaktsutyun does not see obstacles to support Armen Sarkissian's candidacy.
In turn, Armen Sarkissian noted that he will make a final decision to accept the proposal of being nominated President’s candidate of Armenia or no after he meets with all the parliamentary and non parliamentary political forces.
