The head of Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations David Tonoyan received the EU delegation led by Deputy Head of Division for the Eastern Partnership countries at the European External Action Service Dirk Lorenz.
The delegation arrived in Armenia within the fifth meeting of the Armenia-EU subcommittee, during which the sides discussed the energy, transport, environment and civil protection issues.
David Tonoyan and Dirk Lorenz discussed the cooperation between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia and the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, signed on November 24 2017.
The European side confirmed that Armenia would have an opportunity to present its priorities at the upcoming European Civil Protection Forum in March.
