Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the coordination of efforts to ensure the sustainable functioning of de-escalation zones in Syria, Kremlin's press service reported.
“The sides discussed issues of further coordination of efforts by Russia and Turkey to ensure the sustainable functioning of de-escalation zones, as well as interaction in the Astana format,” the statement said.
The leaders also exchanged views on bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
