YEREVAN. – Armenian Ambassador to the UK, a possible presidential candidate from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia Armen Sarkissian continues his meetings with representatives of political forces, organizations and public figures, Armen Sarkissian’s press office reported.
On Thursday, Sarkissian headed to Moscow, where he will meet with representatives of the Armenian community. In the coming days Armenian Ambassador will hold meetings in other Armenian communities as well.
As reported earlier, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received Ambassador to UK Armen Sarkissian on January 19 and offered him to become a candidate for the post of the president from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia. Armen Sarkissian, in turn, asked the President for some time to make a final decision in this regard.
