A Russian billionaire of Azerbaijani origin was ordered to hand £453 million to his former wife in what is thought to be Britain’s biggest divorce case, The Times reported.
Farkhad Akhmedov, who featured this week on the US “Putin list” of officials and oligarchs close to the Kremlin, was ordered to give Tatiana Akhmedova 41.5 per cent of his “staggering” wealth by a High Court judge in London in 2016.
The couple enjoyed an incredibly lavish lifestyle, with a £39million mansion in Surrey as their family home, as well as a £27.8million holiday home.
Mr Akhmedov, who owns a private jet and helicopter and a £90million art collection, also bought a £300million super-yacht from Chelsea owner Mr Abramovich in 2014.
