Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has recalled the need for expanding the OSCE observers’ group at the Karabakh conflict zone.

Lavrov said the parties are close to agreeing on the specific criteria for the implementation of that agreement and Russia hopes that the OSCE will be able to operatively put into action the agreements that were reached earlier between the parties.

Armenia is ranked the 111th in the Democracy Index published by the Economist Intelligence Unit. Thus, Armenia is listed among countries with “hybrid regime”.

According to our Media Freedom Index published in the same report, Armenia is described as “largely unfree”.
