A major snowfall has hit Moscow, and people pass through the huge snow piles with tremendous difficulty.

City authorities are attempting to clear the streets and are informing about huge traffic jams, canceled flights and passengers stranded at airports, and numerous toppled trees, according to Kratko-News.com.

It is reported that this amount of snowfall in the Russian capital city is the largest over the past sixty years. According to local authorities, this occurs once in every 100 years.
