Malta’s new Ambassador to Armenia, Natasha Meli Daudey—with residence in the Polish capital city of Warsaw—, on Wednesday presented her credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

Congratulating the ambassador on her appointment, Sargsyan wished her success in carrying out her diplomatic mission in Armenia. Also, the President reaffirmed Armenia’s wish to deepen relations with Malta, and expressed the hope that Ambassador Daudey and Armenia’s ambassador to Malta will work actively to this end. 

The Maltese diplomat, in turn, assured that she will do her utmost to develop Armenia-Malta state relations.

The interlocutors underscored high-level mutual visits.

President Sargsyan stressed the need for political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, and for the expansion of legal framework.

The Armenian President and the Maltese ambassador highlighted the role of parliamentary diplomacy in the strengthening of state relations between the two countries. 

And within the framework of the European Union (EU), Serzh Sargsyan and Natasha Meli Daudey drew attention to the strengthening and deepening of cooperation between Armenia and EU member Malta.
