South Korean President, Moon Jae-in, met with the formal head of North Korea Kim Yong Nam on Friday, Bloomberg reported.

The meeting took place in the town of Yongpyong, east of Pyeongchang, which hosts the Games.

According to the source, Moon Jae-in shook hands and had a photograph taken with Kim Yong Nam at a reception ahead of the opening ceremony for the Winter Olympics.
