YEREVAN.- The Armenia's state financing of agriculture will increase by 70% in 2018 compared to 2017, Armenian Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan said.

According to him, the government will direct these funds to subsidizing agricultural machinery, seeds and diesel fuel.

"However, the promotion of agriculture through subsidizing agricultural projects is not enough, it is necessary to develop infrastructures in the agricultural zones," the Minister emphasized.
