US President Donald Trump has outlined three major priorities to create a safe and lawful immigration system.
“My Administration has identified three major priorities for creating a safe, modern and lawful immigration system: fully securing the border, ending chain migration, and canceling the visa lottery. Congress must secure the immigration system and protect Americans,” Trump said.

In October last year, Donald Trump signed a decree and tightened its entry requirements. The U.S. government announced it would start admitting refugees from most countries again after a 120-day ban, but will impose new restrictions on refugees from Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Libya, Syria, Somalia and Sudan.
On December 24, a federal judge in Seattle partially blocked U.S. President Donald Trump’s restrictions on refugee admissions. According to the court’s decision, the ban will apply only to those migrants who do not have enough evidences of links with persons or structures already in the United States.
