French companies cannot find workers, despite the high unemployment rate in the country, Bloomberg reported.

“About 3.5 million of France’s 29 million workforce are unemployed. Last year, 200,000 to 330,000 job offers went unfilled,” the national job agency Pole Emploi said in a statement.

The main reason for such statistics in companies is a lack of candidates deemed qualified.

French President Emmanuel Macron promised to invest € 15 billion in education and vocational training.
