Thirtieth year of the Karabakh Movement is a good opportunity to visit Artsakh again and to celebrate it on location; hopefully, I will soon be able to visit again.

French National Assembly member Valérie Boyer stated the aforesaid at Tuesday’s public assembly in Stepanakert, the capital city of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR), congratulating, via videotelephony, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Karabakh Movement, reported ARTSAKHpress news agency.

“It was in 2011 when I first visited Nagorno-Karabakh, and it became a true revelation to me,” Boyer added. “First of all, I got to know people; I had the opportunity to see wonderful scenery, ancient monuments, learn the history, which, unfortunately, has been forgotten at international platforms.

“I would like to say that we are with you, for you are waging a righteous fight; a fight for human dignity. That is why we are fighting in the French National Assembly, the Senate, and other organizations so that they recognize you, that you live freely in a democratic country, [and] that your country can develop.”
