Germany does not want to abandon a joint comprehensive plan of action on the Iranian nuclear program, advises the United States not to do so,  said Foreign Minister of Germany Zigmar Gabriel, RIA Novosti reported.

“Having signed a treaty with Iran, we achieved a lot. We have acted as a united front, and we advise our American friends not to abandon this general plan of action, but to jointly prevent the expansion of Iran's influence in the region,” Gabriel said at the Munich Security Conference.

On July 14, 2015, Iran and the six international mediators reached an historic agreement on the settlement of the long-standing problem of Iranian nuclear program.

The current US administration severely criticizes the agreement and threatens to withdraw from it, calling the document the worst deal for the United States.
