YEREVAN. – The Government Reception House, which is envisaged as the residence of the fourth President of Armenia, is in the privatization plan, said Arman Sahakyan, head of the Department of State Property Management, at a press conference on Tuesday.
“At this moment, we are preparing a government decision on dissolving the [Government] Reception House,” Sahakyan noted. “That is, it doesn’t mean that if a company is in the privatization plan, it shall definitely be privatized.”
He added that there are companies that are in Armenia’s privatization plan ever since 2001.
“In this case, we will take the ‘road’ of dissolving,” Sahakyan stressed. “What is more, the [Government] Reception House is a quite expensive ‘pleasure’ for the state.”
