A teacher in North Carolina was fired after slamming a 12-year-old student to the ground on February 14, New York Post reported.
A 12-year-old Jose Escudero told the police that the substitute teacher took away his chocolate during the lesson and when the boy tried to return the candies the man reportedly grabbed him, pinned him against the wall and threw to the ground.
Escudero’s mother posted footage on Facebook, planning to take legal action against both the school and teacher, while the school administration noted that this kind of behavior is “unacceptable.”
According to the police, the video posted to Facebook “does not capture the entire incident,” and officials “are still interviewing people so it would be premature to place any charges at this time.”
