STEPANAKERT. – President of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR), Bako Sahakyan, on Wednesday visited the capital city Stepanakert Memorial, in connection with the 30th anniversary of the Armenian pogroms in Sumgait, Azerbaijan.
Sahakyan laid flowers to the monument to the innocent victims, Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He was accompanied by Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Primate of the Diocese of Artsakh of the Armenian Apostolic Church, and several senior officials of the republic.
