YEREVAN. – Investment programs worth $ 856.5 million were implemented in Armenia last year.

Of this amount, 68 percent were private investments, 19 percent fell on credit programs, 6 percent on grant programs, four percent came from investments from the national budget and 3 percent from community budgets.

According to the government, the largest amount of investments falls on the energy sector.

Investments realized by the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia amounted to $ 293.6 million, $ 175.2 million was invested in the programs implemented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies.

Next come the programs of the State Committee for Urban Development - $ 99.1 million, the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment - $ 79 million, agriculture - $ 72. 8 million.
