YEREVAN.- Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian met on Friday with Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze, who arrived in Yerevan within the delegation headed by the Georgian Prime Minister.

The Ministers noted with satisfaction that high-level Armenian-Georgian contacts give an opportunity to control the implementation of the reached agreements and to outline new programs.

Edward Nalbandian and Mikheil Janelidze discussed issues regarding periodic consultations between Armenian and Georgian Foreign Ministries, strengthening of cooperation within international structures, expansion of legal framework, holding a regular session of the intergovernmental commission.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Georgia touched upon a number of regional and international issues.
