YEREVAN. – The inauguration of Armenia’s new President will take place on April 9, at the special session of the National Assembly (NA), according to Hraparak (Square) newspaper.

“[But] it will not be held in parliament. At this time the options of holding it in the Opera [building] or the Matenadaran [Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts] are discussed; the NA chairman will make the decision.

‘“Will there be guests from outside [Armenia]?’ We asked our source in the authorities. ‘Certainly.’ ‘Including Prince Charles?’ The source was not sure: ‘Maybe.’ ‘Also the [British] Queen?’ The source said ‘no’ with his head,” Hraparak wrote.

Ambassador to UK Armen Sarkissian on Friday was elected fourth President of Armenia.
