YEREVAN. – Global changes are expected in the Middle East, Russia, and the South Caucasus, alike, said former Armenia MP Azat Arshakyan, at a press conference on Saturday.

At the same time, in his words, Armenia is a key player in the international arena, especially in this region.

“Armenia can offer a lot to the world,” Arshakyan explained. “And the changes expected in the Middle East and the world, in general, will enable to implement reforms in Armenia.”

As per the ex-lawmaker, if Armenia conducts a proper foreign and domestic policy, it can play a positive part in the development of the whole region and the world; and, according to Azat Arshakyan, Ambassador to UK Armen Sarkissian’s election as fourth President of Armenia may contribute to this.
