Asymco analytical company’s expert has revealed how long Apple customers use their devices, Business Insider reported.

Apple has so far sold over 2.05 billion devices all over the world, while 750 million devices are no longer used, the source said.

According to the expert, given that Apple sold 750 million in the third quarter of 2013, “the lifespan is thus estimated at 17 quarters or about 4 years and three months.”

The expert noted that iPhone and Mac users tend to use their devices for longer.

As reported earlier, in late 2018 Apple intends to release three new iPhone models.
