Russian troops have successfully launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Astrakhan Oblast (province), reported RBC news agency of Russia.

“The launch of the missile was carried out 100km away from the target—the provisional adversary,” reads the respective statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense (MOD). “The target was hit with high-level precision.”

As per the MOD, the launching of this Iskander was the final phase in the tactical exercises for the servicemen of the missile troops.
