Three people were taken as hostages and shots were fired Friday at the Veterans Home of California in Yountville, USA.

The three hostages and the armed hostage-taker were killed, ABC News reported citing its source familiar with the situation.

The three hostages were women.

According to the Napa Valley Register, the hostage-taker was 36 years old, and he was undergoing emotional trauma treatment at the aforesaid veterans’ home.
