Georgia's President  Giorgi Margvelashvili leaves for Washington after the visit to Brussels on March 9-10, the presidential press service reported.

According to her information, Margvelashvili, in particular, plans to meet with US congressmen.

"Within the visit to the US, issues of development of cooperation between the two countries and the security of Georgia will be discussed," the report says.
