The new German government has to put its relations with Russia on a new basis, said German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday during the Bundestag address, TASS reported.

According to her, Germany will continue to work on the implementation of the Minsk agreements, preservation of Ukraine's sovereignty as well as on the establishment of a new relations with Russia.
