The presidential election has kicked off Sunday in Montenegro, reported Vijesti newspaper of the country.

Voting will end at 8pm local time.

Former president, ruling coalition leader Milo Đukanović, also is running for president. If elected, he will become president of Montenegro for the seventh time.

If no candidate gets more than 50 percent of the votes cast, there will be a presidential runoff election on April 29.
