YEREVAN. – Detainees are held beyond the legal time limit in some police departments of Armenia, Armenian Ombudsman's Office said in a statement after his staff visited police departments.
According to the statement, they are taking measured to clarify the circumstances of their detention.
As reported earlier, Armenian police said 80 people were detained on suspicion of committing an administrative offense.
