President Armen Sarkissian of Armenia on Wednesday signed a decree.

Correspondingly, Vardan Makaryan has been appointed Acting Presidential Chief of Staff.

And by the same executive order, Armen Gevorgyan has been relieved from his duties as Presidential Chief of Staff, and in connection with his appointment to another position.

As reported earlier, Gevorgyan has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister.
