A summit between North and South Korea on April 21 is an opportunity to start dialogue, said Pope Francis on Wednesday.

This summit “a favorable occasion to start a transparent dialogue and a concrete route toward reconciliation and regained brotherhood with the aim of guaranteeing peace on the Korean Peninsula and in the entire world,” AP reported referring to Pope Francis.

Pope Francis said that he promises the prayer of the whole Church for the people of Korea, who ardently desire peace.
