Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit North Korea in the near future, China’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, Wang Yi will visit North Korea at the invitation of his North Korean counterpart Ri Yong Ho. His visit is set from Wednesday to Thursday, Channel New Asia reported.
The meeting of Chinese and North Korean FMs will be held ahead of North Korea-United States summit planned to take place in late May or early June 2018.
