YEREVAN.- Armenian opposition movement leader, “Yelk” bloc parliamentary faction head Nikol Pashinyan stated that he will be nominated as the candidate of Prime Minister of Armenia on Thursday and urged to stop all the actions of civil disobedience in the country.

Nikol Pashinyan noted that parliamentary factions of Tsarukyan bloc, ARF  and Yelk will sign his nomination as the candidate of the PM (35 signatures are required for the 2nd round).

The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will not nominate a PM candidate for the May election. RPA said they will support any candidate who will be nominated by at least one third of the deputies in the Armenian parliament.
