An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 occurred in the Philippines on Saturday, US Geological Survey (USGS) reported.

Underground shocks were recorded 56 km northwest of Pandan, on the island of Catanduanes. The center of the earthquake lies at a depth of 18 kilometers.

There have been no reports about casualties and destructions yet.
