Official Yerevan made a decision on providing assistance to Armenian schools in Abkhazia. At the moment, 32 Armenian schools operate in the region with 2,000 students. Another 7.000 Armenian students are studying at Russian schools.

According to Georgian mass media, Armenia extended a helping hand to the schools in a poor condition, which will be provided with Armenian books and literature. Retraining courses will be organized for the teaching staff as well.
